By registering, accessing, or using this platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Purpose of the Platform
ReassignMe provides a facilitation service that connects government-employed teachers seeking school transfers or job opportunities.
We assist by:

ReassignMe is not a government entity, and we do not control, approve, or guarantee any transfer outcome.
2. Eligibility
To use ReassignMe, you must:

Be permanently employed by the Government of South Africa as an educator.

Be 18 years or older.

Provide accurate and verifiable information during registration.
Users who are not permanently employed, or who provide false information, may have their accounts suspended or deleted without refund.
3. Account Registration

You are required to create an account and pay the applicable fees to access member-only features.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

You agree not to share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.

TeacherXchange may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscription and Fees

The annual subscription fee is R300, which grants you access to the platform and its services for 12 months.

A once-off onboarding fee of R50 is payable to activate and verify your account.

Fees are payable upfront and are non-transferable.

You may renew your subscription annually to maintain access.

5. Onboarding and Matching Process
During onboarding, we will:

Verify your employment and eligibility.

Set up your ReassignMe profile.

Assist you in joining your regional or subject-specific transfer pool.

Facilitate introductions and correspondence with your potential transfer match.
TeacherXchange strives to connect you with your best possible match; however, we cannot guarantee a transfer, job placement, or time frame for success.
6. Platform Conduct
When using the platform, you agree to:

Use it only for legitimate professional purposes related to education and transfers.

Communicate respectfully with other users.

Not post or share false, misleading, or defamatory information.

Not attempt to hack, scrape, or misuse the platform in any way.

Not advertise, solicit, or promote unrelated services or content.
Any breach of these conditions may result in account suspension or permanent removal.
7. Job Listings and Third-Party Posts
ReassignMe may feature job posts from schools, education departments, or third-party contributors.
We do not verify every external listing and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of third-party job advertisements.
Users should verify all offers independently before taking action.
8. Communication Channels
ReassignMe may use email, WhatsApp groups, or in-platform messaging to facilitate communication.
By registering, you consent to receiving updates, notifications, and messages related to your account and matches.
Users must behave professionally within all communication channels — abuse or spam will result in removal.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
ReassignMe complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
We only collect data necessary for verification, matching, and communication purposes.
Your information may be shared with:

10. Limitation of Liability
ReassignMe provides services on an “as-is” basis and does not guarantee any transfer, job placement, or specific outcome.
We are not liable for:

Changes in government policies.

Any financial or employment loss resulting from platform use.
Our total liability, under any circumstance, will not exceed the total subscription amount paid in the current year.
11. Termination
ReassignMe reserves the right to:

Suspend or terminate any account for breach of these Terms.

Remove users who act dishonestly or disrespectfully.

Deny refunds in cases of misconduct, misrepresentation, or ineligibility.
Users may cancel their account at any time; however, fees already paid remain non-refundable.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically.
All updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
